Peter says that we are to "make every effort" to add to our faith. Why? Can't we just relax and quit working so hard at this business of Christianity? What can we add? And how?
Join us as we consider Peter's challenge to be a people growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Book Club to Read The Shack
The Book of Every Other Month Club has chosen the controversial best seller The Shack, by William Young as it's next read. Scheduled to meet February 10th, 7:00pm at Barnes & Noble, the group will discuss the novel that is riding a wave of rapturous word-of-mouth praise and sharp criticism.
If you can't handle thinking about God outside of your religious box then you might sit this one out. But if you're up for a interesting story that challenges your categories about God, then pick up a copy and join us for a hot cup of something and stimulating conversation.
